Raised in Newton MA, Alice stayed close to home to attend Harvard and wandered farther afield for NYU Law School. After a few years at Sullivan & Cromwell, Alice kept her pen in hand, but stopped drafting wills. Two of her children’s novels—Engraved In Stone and The Spirit of Chatsworth Mansion—have been published, as well as many magazine articles. In fall 2019, Alice wrote her first full-length play and has kept at it ever since. When the Muse calls, you invite her in, offer her a cup of tea, and a chocolate chip scone (apparently, the Muse is an Anglophile, which explains why so much of Alice’s writing has a British connection). An ardent theater buff, Alice was for years the “All Time Leader” of Show-Score reviews. The mother of three lives in Manhattan.
